The Appeal
The R100RT is touring bike royalty. Quiet, smooth, supremely comfortable and, this being a BMW, very reliable, it is the sort of bike that makes short work of any long journey.
This one is primed to do all that once again. It has been in the same family from new, but off the road in dry storage since the last MOT in 2013. Thankfully it has been kept on a trickle charger and regularly started and run, so in theory should take little to put back on the road after checks and servicing.
It is well presented in dark brown metallic and we are told remains factory standard. There are a few marks and points to note from storage, but nothing that is unsightly. You could bring it back to life or use it as the base for a custom project like a scrambler, bobber or cafe racer.
