For a firm that had cut its teeth on paired-back, rear-engined, air-cooled sports cars, the 928 really couldn't have been more different. A luxuriously appointed front-engined, water-cooled V8 GT, the 928 was built with long-distance driving in mind.
This 1982 example looks in very good condition, especially the underside and engine bay which are among the cleanest we've seen with car of this vintage. The vendor acquired it from the granddaughter of the original owner in Arizona and it has a mere 41,618 miles on the clock.
