The Appeal
A real treat for Land Rover fans, Car & Classic is excited to bring this rare factory military demonstrator to market. This is one of just two V8-engined military Ninetys exhibited by Land Rover at Middle Eastern arms fairs in period.
What of the other one, we hear you ask? Well, we're informed it's safe and sound in the Imperial War Museum - making this the only vehicle of its kind currently up for grabs!
As the photographs show, this Land Rover is incredibly original, down to the internal radio bench, gun racks, aerial wiring and battery storage. Military vehicle enthusiasts will note the secondary big 24 volt alternator for radio, two spare wheels, and rear swing-away spare wheel which automatically opens and closes with side opening tailgate.
