The Appeal
While Land Rover unveiled its new coil-sprung Ninety in 1983, the ‘Defender’ nameplate didn’t emerge for another seven years. From 1990 until 2016, the essential formula remained unchanged, cementing the Defender as Britain’s best-loved and most-respected workhorse.
Here we have a purposeful early Defender 90, which has benefited from recent professional work. Sporting a rich patina commensurate with its age and vehicle type, this Landy has clearly been used and enjoyed as its makers intended.
