1992 Ducati 907 ie

Highlights

  • Final iteration of Ducati’s ‘Paso’ series of sport touring motorbikes
  • Acquired by the seller in 1997 and kept garaged throughout this time
  • Light recommissioning is now recommended, and the bike will require an MOT

The Appeal

Legendary Italian designer Massimo Tamburini is celebrated for penning some of Ducati’s most iconic machines, and alongside the marque’s uncompromising superbikes sat the distinctive ‘Paso’ series of sport touring motorcycles.
Designed with comfort, aerodynamic efficiency and long-distance usability in mind, the range combined Ducati’s charismatic Desmodromic L-twin engine with striking fully enclosed bodywork and futuristic styling. Named in honour of Italian racer Renzo Pasolini, the Paso evolved throughout its production run, culminating in the fuel-injected 907ie – widely regarded as the most refined and usable iteration of the series.
This 1992 example dates from the very final year of production and is reported by its current long-term owner to be in good working order. Thanks to its distinctive blend of everyday usability and ‘90s charm, it is sure to be well-received by retro motorcycle fans and brand aficionados alike.
