The Appeal
The Turbo R LWB was the best of the best from the Crew outfit at the time of production. The 6750cc turbocharged V8 was tuned up to produce an immense 750Nm of torque and fitted with a Bosch fuel-injection system giving 355BHP. Performance, predictably, was very impressive.
This being a later car with the floor-mounted gear change also has the upgraded four-speed automatic gearbox making it more fuel efficient on long journeys and generally more comfortable to drive. Supplied new by Jack Barclay Ltd, it was optioned new to have the much more attractive mesh radiator grill, badge bar, rear quarter badges and leather-bound seat controls. This car has been in long-term storage for the past decade, always kept indoors and on charge.
Since re-emerging, it has covered around 300 miles in the last month driving without fault through all this. The bodywork has been treated to a three-stage dry cut, wet polish and ceramic coating giving the paint a mirror finish. Most recently, the Bentley flew through its MOT without fault on 29th May 2024 and has received an oil and filter service in readiness for its next owner.

- Underside all in very good order
- Bodywork and paint in good condition with some minor blemishing and stone chips
- Wheels are all in good condition, left front and right rear each have one very minor scuff
- All interior lights & dash backlights for night-time driving working well
- Leather upholstery all in very nice condition with some minor wear showing
- Wood veneers all in good condition with some wear showing on front door cappings
- Carpets all in very nice condition but driver’s footwell heal pad is very worn
