Buying a used sports car can be a tricky affair, particularly when you are looking at a mid-engined Porsche Boxster.
There’s so much of the mechanicals hidden away out of sight that it can feel like a leap of faith. Well, this could be one car that takes the guesswork out of buying a Boxster because there is oodles of history available with it.
There are invoices here that will demonstrate just how much care has been taken to maintain this lovely little gem. Apart from regular servicing, evidence is easily found for the replacement of the standard IMS (Intermediate Shaft) bearings, a common area of concern for this era of flat-six.
There are previous MOTs too where the limited amount of mileage can be tracked.
The factory handbook and service book are also still with the car and the service book has a healthy amount of dealer and specialist stamps.
