The Appeal
The joy of the 996 is that you can have it in virtually any flavour that suits you, from relaxing Tiptronic-equipped GTs to track-focused GT3.
This car is arguably one of the most versatile. With its hard and soft tops, it works as a convertible or coupe, while that clever auto box offers semi and full auto modes to suit your mood. And then there is the all-weather capability of that AWD system.
Classically finished in silver with black leather, it is a low mileage car that has clearly been looked after. The vendor tells us that he bought it in 2010. The thick history file shows regular servicing plus a sizeable invoice from SCS Porsche in 2021 for suspension and servicing work, plus that all-important IMS bearing. That bill alone came in at a cool £8,800.
This really is a car for all seasons, all weathers and all driving moods. The icing on the cake is a lengthy MOT to July 2026.
