The Appeal
Here is one for the collectors. This remarkable DB9 Volante has covered a mere 5,000 miles from new in the hands of a single lady keeper. It is, quite simply, magnificent.
The car was ordered as a demonstrator by Grange Aston Martin so features the desirable ‘triple black’ specification of black roof with Onyx Black paintwork and Obsidian Black leather with piano black veneers. Naturally, it is in very good order, helped by a recent paintwork detail and alloy wheel refurbishment.
An issue with little-used cars is that they can come to market with hidden problems. That isn’t the case here. Before sale, the car was sent to specialist Bamford Rose with the proviso to ‘do whatever it needs.’ The resulting work totalled £10,000 and included servicing, filters, brake fluid, diff oil, pipework, tyres, brake discs and pads. Naturally, it carries a lengthy MOT to August 2026 with no advisories. Bamford Rose provided a glowing summary of the car, which we’ve included below.
Here is a chance to acquire a car that is close to brand new. The interior is a delight, showing none of the wear or age usually associated with an 18-year-old car. The exterior is equally impressive, just some deterioration to the door handles - easily remedied - to note.
Whether you choose to add this DB9 to your collection or get out and put some miles on it, its specification and recent provenance make it very appealing.
The vendor says:
“With the low mileage and the recent no-costs-spared works, the car is in absolutely excellent condition with the 'Bamford Rose' stamp of approval.”

Quote from Bamford Rose provided by seller:
"A lot of restoration/recommissioning works, at such low mileage and great condition, it's a super buy/car for someone. An early DB9 at that level of upkeep and low mileage is quite a unicorn these days."
