The Appeal
When Brabus wasn’t fettling extreme versions of Mercedes-Benz’ it found time to create the its remarkable version of the Smart ForTwo city car.
The second generation W451 got some nice Brabus trimmings but it was in the engine where the real wonders were worked. Capacity was upped to 999cc and power hiked, thanks to a turbocharger, to 101bhp. Which in a car weighing considerably less than a tonne, is zippy stuff.
It all makes the ULEZ-compliant W451 a very compelling city car. This low mileage example is in great condition and, once equipped with a fresh MOT, it looks ready to turn every city drive into a fun drive.
