As you probably know, the Land Rover is considered to be one of the best off-road vehicles and has earned its place as an iconic 4x4 worldwide. Launched in 1990, the Defender was an improved version of the Series III Land Rover. Fitted with a new engine, improved styling, and a more comfortable interior, the Defender 90 was born.
Still as popular as ever, the Defender 90 continued where the Series III left off, being a traditional tough all-terrain 4x4 vehicle which continued to be produced for another 26 years. One of the last models produced was the XS model, which has become highly desirable to many 4x4 and Defender enthusiasts, and it's easy to see why.
This fine 2014 example has just one previous keeper. It comes with an excellent service history and has been well cared for, as you can see. There have also been some worthwhile improvements carried out, which include a remap, uprated suspension, and a fully sound-proofed interior. The vendor reports the vehicle has only been used for light off-road use up and down farm tracks within his seven-year ownership. It is also said to have had no expense spared in the maintenance department, ensuring everything is always working correctly.
