Sunbeam Avenger 1250 1974
This car has only had one former owner and has been standing for many years, it was just inspected (MOT/ TUV) on 30. 10. 2020 and is now ready to be used again.
It drives very well, all the dials and everything work as they should. The meter reading is showing just over 8000km, I would say that it is 108000km and not 208000km.
Bodywork is nice and straight and rust free, obviously an old car so showing signs of wear. Around the headlights on the wings look to have been repaired. The main obvious repair is the drivers side seal, it has been pushed in somehow. On the same side the rear arch has been repaired.
Under the bonnet and in the boot is in great original condition, rare sight nowadays. The underneath and chassis are also in great condition, I could not see any previous weld repairs.
Interior is great for its age, drivers seat bolster has been repaired.
This is a great original car the only thing that lets it down is the already mentioned seal. This would make a great daily that is ready to be used as is, also would be a great starting point for a build.
