And with this idea in mind, we left the door a fraction open so that this Volvo could slip into our showroom!
This sturdy workhorse was produced between 1956 and 1970 and became an international success for Volvo, which developed the model in several versions. In total, 667, 332 units of this type were built, available in two-door, four-door and estate versions.
And ours? Without a doubt the most beautiful of them all! A two-door original delivered to the Netherlands, dating from 1965. During its restoration, it was completely repainted in its original dark blue colour (code 96), which perfectly complements its elegant blue interior.
Under the hood sits the famous B18 engine with a simple Stromberg carburettor, paired with a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. The condition of this Volvo speaks for itself, and we warmly invite you to come and discover it in our showroom.
But beware… don’t be surprised if this car suddenly attracts a lot of attention from beautiful young blonde women with blue eyes!
See you soon? The engine warning light on a Volvo is only a suggestion.
