This is my Bluebird for sale and in the time I've had her I have done the following.
Restored the bumpers replaced the wings, as they were rusted at the bottoms Mopped the car. It looks fantastic but does have the odd touched up scab due to age and a small dent on the rear quarter that I have tried to push out. I was going to skim filler over but have ran out of time. This does not detract from the overall appearance though! I have Replaced the brake pads,
CAMBELT CHANGED !!
cleaned the heater matrix and fan, adjusted the controls, any welding needed has been done, serviced it when purchased. All door inners for window runners and lock internals have been cleaned and re greased fully ( all door cards off obv) same as hinges and carb controls etc.
Everything works correctly from Windows to central locking, to sunroof.
A correct blaupunkt radio has been fitted and all speakers are working as does the electric aeriel !! Good wipers, tyres and exhaust. Interior Has also been cleaned and washed to within an inch of its life!
No clunks, no bangs or rattles.
Autobox changes up and down nicely and engages correctly from park too.
Starts on the button and runs very smooth!
All in all an excellent example of these great classic Nissans.
Also has just passed its MOT today!!
So twelve months ticket!!
