Hi and thanks for taking the time to view my stunning xr2 finished in the rare and desireable nimbus grey.
supplied new to newport ford in 1986
it’s the rare early model with the interior boot release switch.
the car has only covered 42000 miles since new in the hands of just 6 owners.
in 2016, it was completely stripped and professionally rebuilt to concourse standard, every nut and bolt, every moving part was either refurbished or replaced, it would take me all day to list everything that was done but it has been restored with a “leave no stone unturned” attitude.
since completion the car has been kept in a private collection and has covered just 100 dry summer miles.
it comes with plenty of old hadcopy mot certificates to confirm the mileage, it has its original book pack and both keys present,
the car, looks, runs and drives exactly as you’d expect from a perfectly restored example.
the car wants for nothing and is ready to show, it has a full years mot until march 2021 with no advisories.
i have many more detailed photographs that i’m happy to send over to any interested parties,
i am open to a reasonable offer close to the asking price but bear in mind, there is currently another concourse car advertised, it’s more expensive and has nearly double the mileage so i feel mine is priced fairly.
