1969 Ford Zephyr V6 Mk4
Here we have a 1969 Ford Zephyr 2. 5 V6 manual column change. First registered in June 1969, the Ford has three former keepers and its odometer shows 27, 553 miles. Having been off the road since 1987 MDO527G is now being offered as a full restoration project and is currently not running.
Bodywork-
Mostly solid but as expected is going to require various repairs, underneath the white paint there is signs that it was previously metallic purple, currently stated correctly as white on the logbook. Rear arches have been extended. welding will be required, the worst seems to be the a pillars as photos show below, front wings are solid, passenger lower section has been repaired in the past. Underside looks to be fairly solid, is going to require some welding but the floors and sills all look intact.
Interior-
Very good seats and door cards, sadly no carpet with the car, roof lining very good. At some point the gearbox tunnel has been cut to gain access to the gearbox, this needs welding back up but at least the metal is there. No cracks to the dash, looks like a shift light has been added where the heater blower would be on the dash. Period 8 track player.
Mechanical-
Due to the length of time off the road, we haven't tried to get the car running but can confirm that with a jump pack on the battery the engine turns over on the key. Clutch and brake pedal both seized.
