Range Rover Classic 1st series year 1976 6x4 “6 Wheeler”
realised by CARMICHEAL NELASE automotive body shop 1976
This vehicle has V8 engine 3500 cc 180-horse power. It has been used as firefighter service car and it has served for some years at a military airport. Then RAF decided to use it as firefighter service car at Buckingham Palace, where it assisted the taking off and landing of the English Royals and Windsors’ helicopter.
The vehicle undertook several restoring during the past 15 years, since it had to be “retired” from the aviation. All the restoring works have been “conservative”, that is to say that all original accessories have been kept in place, including firefighting pumps, fire stairs, pipes, and signaling systems.
This car has Italian registration and certification ASI (Italian Historic Automotoclub).
This car preserves the “old” English plates.
