motodrome offer for sale this 2002 Land Rover Defender 110 TD5 Double Cab in green with vinyl interior trim.
As can be seen in the photos, it’s fitted with an Ifor Williams rear canopy and full-length brownchurch-type roofrack, which has been boarded over.
Also fitted with steel wheels with 750x16 tyres, rear mudflaps, chequerplate on wingtops, side-opening tailgate, and adjustable towbar. Inside it has electric front windows, and the original radio/ cassette.
This one has covered just under 81000 warranted miles in the hands of 2 keepers from new, the first being as a dealer demonstrator. It’s been owned since 2004 by our local wildlife charity (from whom it’s just come directly to us). It’s important to note this one’s no flashy ‘Chelsea Tractor’ – whilst it’s been worked in the manner for which they were built, and bears the appropriate scars, the trade off is that it has superb service history as it’s wanted for nothing whilst in their care. It comes with history including 7 stamps in the book (all by Land Rover main dealer or specialist), and a sheaf of supporting servicing and repair bills showing comprehensive annual servicing by the same local specialist back to 2004. Last serviced in February 2019 at 79319m,
Currently MOT’d to the end of February 2020 (no advisories) – as this is short, we’re happy to provide a fresh 12 months MOT on sale ( if sold in the UK) and 6 months warranty too. According to the MOT database, it’s never failed an MOT on structural corrosion issues (or, amazingly, ever had any advisories which is a sign of exemplary maintenance.
On a 30-mile test run it performed without apparent fault.
