For sale is my 1991 Porsche 944 S2, Black with cream leather.
I will be sad to see this go as it has been my absolute pride and joy, but after 4 years of ownership I feel it’s time to tick another off the bucket list.
Next MOT 31st July with new discs and pads on the rear at the last mot.
History
Substantial history and bills dating back to 1990, this car has been owned by enthusiasts and it has been well looked after. I have two keys with the car and the original leather service pack. MOT history is flawless covering around 3k miles per year.
Interior.
Electric cream leather tombstone seats in good condition, bit of wear to the driver bolster. Cream carpets and black mats. Dash is solid with no cracks and I have the original steering wheel which I will be putting back on the car. Electric sunroof works with no leaks. Everything works as it should including the Clock/ timer.
I have the original 944 tool kit including spare wheel with folding tyre, Porsche tyre inflator and sunroof protector bag which are rare to still have with these cars.
Body work.
Is overall good with no dents or scratches, sills have been professionally cut repaired and painted last year. I have also had the sunroof and arches painted. When polished up really does shine and it gets a lot of attention.
The engine runs perfect, it pulls well and idles as it should and has never let me down. Current millage is at 189557. I have just had the water pump, timing belt, balance belt and pulleys replaced including new casings for these to freshen everything up. At the same time a full service was undertaken including fresh K&N panel filter and 10w60 oil. Throughout my ownership I have always only used 10w60 oil and Shell super fuel. Last year I had the rocker cover refurbished and painted in black wrinkle paint and at the same time replaced the rocker gasket. The exhaust is a custom full stainless system which has been beautifully crafted by CGR in Rotherham, it really is a work of art. The exhaust gives it that extra sporty tone I was looking for when looking to replace the original.
It is currently on fully adjustable (ride height and dampening) GAZ Gold coilover suspension front and back alongside the original rear torsion bar which has been dialled down to lower slightly. The suspension is currently set up for fast road so is fairly hard but obviously you have the freedom to adjust this to your requirements by just a few clicks. As it stands it handles impeccably. I also have the original shocks and springs which will come with the car. The wheels are 18-inch Fifteen52 Tarmacs, which are 8-inch wide on the front and 9-inch wide on the rear. When looking for different wheels for the 944 I felt that these although were bigger than the original were quite in keeping with the style and era of the car. Tyres are all matching Falkens and all have plenty of tread.
Here for sale is my well-loved and maintained 944 which looks and drives great with the help of some very subtle modifications. This is an opportunity to purchase a rare and unique 90’s classic sports car that are only going one way in value.
