1988 Peugeot 205 GTI 1. 6 Hatchback. Futura Grey metallic with grey and red upholstery. Only two previous owners from new and just 59, 000 miles. Supplied new by Cathedral Peugeot of Bristol to Mr Krimpas on the 5th February 1998. Mr Krimpas kept the car in his family until February 2021 with only him and his wife in the V5 with the original log books in the history file. This amazing low mileage GTI still retains its original dealer handbooks and a fantastic history folder dating back to 1988. The original service book is present and containing several stamps and the largest selection of service invoices and mot certificates that we have possibly seen detailing the complete life of the car and every penny ever spent. Most recently over £2000 was spent in 2020 on a service, cam belt kit and new four new Dunlop tyres. The 205 runs and drives just as you would expect for a car that has been lavished with such care, and more importantly is a car that has not been restored, it is totally original and as it left the dealer thirty three years ago. Yes it has had some paintwork over the years but what car hasn’t and the seats have had the bolsters replaced where the foam always collapsed over time but so so genuine.
