This matching number DB4 has been held in the same ownership for over 47 years.
Still finished in the original colour scheme of dark Peony Red with a black leather interior. Delivered new to a Mr R. G. Fry in UK on 1/ 4/ 1960 by Aston agents E. T. Lundgaard , and having one further UK owner recorded prior to export to Australia in the early 1970’s.
On 1/ 10/ 1982 the car had recorded approximately 35, 000 miles.
Now showing an indicated 73, 643 miles this Aston has been enjoyed by a well respected, and ex Australian motor racing champion for over 4 decades.
The Superleggera bodywork is in excellent shape and the bonnet, door and boot gaps are excellent, but the paintwork in some areas is showing some age and patina.
The leather interior and black carpeting is in very good order and all as per original.
The engine shows excellent oil pressure , and the engine bay has not been altered in anyway with the original Aston Martin manufacturers plate and the Touring of Milan plates in place.
This DB4 has the original 4 speed David Brown gearbox fitted from new.
Still fitted with the old 8 track stereo , and a large range of classic cartridges.
