I have my beautiful Evante for sale (due to domestic situation). This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the rarest & best British sports cars. The Evante was a much improved version of the 1960s Elan (resin coated, rust proof chassis, more powerful and reliable Vegantune engines, kevlar reinforced -non craze bodywork, more luxurious interiors etc.) but only 101 were made due to the recession and the fact that they were very expensive (well made). This car has covered just 27000 miles and has 20 consecutive years of MOTs to verify this. it is the 140TC model which is the most useable on the road and gives a power to weight ratio of approaching 200 bhp/ ton and a 0-60 time of just over 6 seconds, yet it costs just £160/ yr on classic insurance. The engine has been converted to run on unleaded & has just been completely rebuilt (new pistons etc). The car runs beautifully & has stunning performance & handling. It is finished in the best colour of red with a grey leather interior. This car is advertised at a bargain price, half that of an Elan in equivalent condition, dealers would ask £10000 to 12000 for a car as good as this! You can have all the attributes of an Elan without the hassle and I am open to sensible offers for this amazing car.
