The car started life in America (California) and as such the bodyshell is the US spec heavy duty version, which lends itself to rally use. Thirty years later the car was exported to Holland where it was converted to a Club rally car.

The car has competed on numerous events in Europe and then purchased and imported by an English Gentleman in 2019 and continued to take part in European and UK based events.
