The Appeal
Drive an air-cooled 911, and the perennial popularity of Porsche's most long-lived model becomes self-explanatory.
A highly original 1980s 911 SC offers one of the best 911 experiences, perfectly balancing classic analogue charm with modern usability, with ample power to have a lot of fun, without it being overwhelming on the road.
Original, well-kept examples are increasingly hard to find, so we're delighted to present this very special 1982 3.0-litre SC, which has evidently benefited from a great deal of care and attention over the years. As the photographs attest, this Porsche is in excellent condition for its age and appears highly original to its factory specifications. We love the period details, from those two-tone Fuchs alloys to that outlandishly large 'tea tray' spoiler, and '80s Heckblende.
Accompanied by numerous invoices, dating back to the early 1980s, this well-kept 911 is ready to meet its next custodian. Recent work includes a gearbox overhaul in 2023, while legendary air-cooled Porsche specialist Francis Tuthill has attended to some of the mechanical work.
Don't miss this excellent opportunity to acquire one of the nicest 911 SCs we've seen in recent years.image.png1.11 MB
