MGB Roadster chrome bumper model. The car had a full restoration about 20 years ago. This included a full respray, new interior, chrome wire wheels, new hood and stainless steel exhaust. It has a stage 2 tuned engine for road use. I would say it is condition 3. It has 115000 recorded miles, and has only covered about 15000 miles over the past 20 years. The car has always been garaged. The car had a full respray about 20 years ago and the body is in fairly good condition but has a few small chips. Most of the chrome is in good condition but the over riders have some marking on them. I fitted the car with new wire wheels 20 years ago which are in very good condition with new tyres all round. A new hood was fitted at the same time. I would say overall the car is condition 3. The interior was replaced 20 years ago with cream leather seats and matching trim and carpets. The dashboard and side door facings are burr walnut. The steering wheel is Motolita sports style. 12 months MOT. All bills and service history available. I bought the car as a rolling shell from an MG specialist about 40 years ago. I installed the engine and gearbox from an earlier car. The engine is a 3 bearing type, which has a balanced flywheel and crank. The 3 bearing engine was acknowledged as freer revving than the later 5 bearing and better for tuning. It has been over-bored to 1840 cc. The carburettors are now 1. 3/ 4 inch with pan type air filters. There is a high lift cam. The car is also fitted with a stainless steel freeflow exhaust, which improves performance. The car is tuned to Stage 2 for road use. The gear box is four speed with no synchromesh from 1st to 2nd gear. All other mechanical parts are in good condition and have been well maintained. The chassis and floorpan are rust free and in good condition with a Hammerite surface.
