Near pristine condition. Lovely bike given its 58 years. The bike was completely stripped down and the frame and all other tin ware primed and two pack top coated with the original colour. Some new plastics were bought as the originals were showed some age related wear and did not do justice to the rest of the bike. A new black numberplate period correct in black and silver.
V5 registration document. Previous documentation lost in estate disposal by the family. The bike was restored by the previous owners father now deceased and unfortunately any supporting information was misplaced during the clearing of the estate by his children
Lovely condition given its 58 years. (1964) registered new
The brake system back and front were removed and replaced with new including all the adjusters and cables. The exhaust is a pattern part but looks great and will service the bike for a long time with care and regular cleaning. Engine starts and runs perfectly with no visible exhaust smoke as does the gearbox which shifts and performs well in all three gears. The engine starts with the mere hint of a kick which is a common feature of these bullet proof small engines.
