Description
Only 48 of these left on the road now.
190e 2. 6 Sportsline 1991 and a cracker.
In near immaculate condition. I'm afraid not a lot of history (no idea why) but you can tell this is a good one. It starts first time, all the time, changes are smooth and consistent and just brings a smile to the face when pushing along through B roads with that 6 cylinder bark.
I've serviced it myself during the last couple of years. A really lovely car that will be sadly missed > I need the space for another purchase.
AMG's are included. They are refurbished about 6 months ago and unmarked with new tyres. New battery. New idler pulley on the front of the engine, and whilst I was there rebuilt the steering pump and installed new water pump with new adjust tensioner and belt. Could not help myself (City & Guilds Plant Technician).
There are no leaks.
All electric windows - sunroof - aerial work ok so too the illuminated vanity mirrors. My daughter did her thing on one of the passenger door handles. See pic. There is also a box of bits with original radio cassette and headamp motors with wipers if you can be bother to install?
Apparently on DVLA website, when checking MOT history, it says that welding was done on the last visit. This is not true. The guy failed it on 2 small holes that are drain holes! When it was pointed out to the young lad - it was passed with no advisories but by then it was too late and on the system. grrrr
This car has absolutely no welded repairs. What it does have is a small dink on the rear offside corner. See pic. This was whilst I was taking photos for this ad and just clipped a rubbish skip in our garden. Couldn't believe it (!) and so have priced accordingly. This and the outside temp gauge plus heater motor being stuck on position 2 is the sum total of all that is wrong.
Turns heads and comments everywhere.
I cannot think of anything that will need doing in the future and I hope 'Louis' will go to an enthusiast' home. Many thanks.
