Mercedes 190e 2. 6 for sale
Being sold as very minor project with a cold start issue.
The car requires easy start when cold, and has an ABS light on, I have been reliably informed that the likely culprit for both issues is the OVP relay so hopefully won’t be a big deal to fix.
Once started the car runs really well and you can then turn it on and off easily using the key.
The Mercedes presents very well with the black exterior over cream interior, it’s a really smart looking car.
I have driven the car about five miles and haven’t found any issues, engine is smooth as is the gear change, everything inside works including the heater and electric windows, radio, lights etc.
Seems to be very solid underneath. There is some cosmetic rust on the front passenger wing and there is some lacquer peel on the rear passenger wing.
It comes with full service history and two keys, there is a service book with 26 stamps in so has definitely been well looked over during its life.
The 2. 6 engined cars are really becoming quite hard to find now, and they really are a lovely car and are so much more refined than the four cylinder variants.
The car has no MOT but could definitely be driven back to a pre booked test, I’d have every confidence it would drive long distance without any issues, and bar the ABS light being on I think it would MOT easily.
