My mum's Mk3 Golf VR6 is for sale, it's a 5 door in dragon green with full black leather (heated in the front).
We have owned the car since October 2014 and both ourselves and the previous owner have hardly used the car. It has extensive history (down to receipts for wiper blades, batteries and disc pads).
In our ownership it has had brand new sills welded in (inner and outer), along with an underbody refresh including a thorough cleaning and a coat of waxoyl.
As someone who has owned 4 MK3 Golfs (so far) I can say it is one of the cleanest ones I've seen, however it does suffer from a few of the typical MK3 problems. After the sills were welded in, we intended to book into the body shop to fix the arches that are becoming (slightly) brown, see picture. It also suffers from a sagging headlining. Another MK3 it suffers from is a none-illuminating ABS and airbag light upon startup, due to the car age we've never been that bothered about the absence of either. Similarly, as someone who has owned a couple of VR6 powered cars, I can confirm that the timing chains are quiet and do not need replacement in the near future.
The car is relatively standard, modifications consisting of coilovers, wheel spacers, uprated HT leads (they're red for full 90s spec), DAB radio and a pool ball gear knob (we have the original).

The car comes with two keys (the torch light works too) and folder of history about 6 inches thick, I'll be sad to see it go however the garage in which it's stored is now required for something else, so unfortunately it has to go. Its in the best colour they came in and sounds absolutely brilliant. It does require minor jobs but it's perfectly usable as is - last time we drove it, it was for a 320 mile trip to north wales and it didn't miss a beat.
I'd buy it myself off my mum but the impending purchase of a house means i can't.
