Description
Very high specification, well maintained and cared for X50 996 Turbo with factory aero kit in Paint to Sample Iris Blue. Origonal registration: GM03FOJ.
This year sees Porsche celebrate 25 years of the 996, solidifying its classic status. This, being a Turbo X50, with Aero Kit (as the UK press car had) and Paint to Sample, is probably the most tastefully specified and desirable turbo available, providing you like Carbon, the colour Blue, and to go FAST.
The vehicle in question has been well maintained, replacement parts fitted when required with no expense spared. Since my ownership I have fitted 4 new Michelin N4 specification tyres, carried out 4 wheel alignment, purchased two new key fobs to replace the aging ones, top of the range BOSCH S5 battery, dyno benchmark to confirm power output and overview of engine health, full service with key components replaced whilst working in those areas such as coil packs and carried out a compression and cylinder leak down test to confirm engine health.
After spending ££££s on the parts and labour, unfortunately, I need more space. As they say, one persons loss is another persons opportunity, is it time for you to enjoy?
Tasteful and rare specification highlights include:
Highly sought after ‘X50’ package which POSCHE reported to raise power output to 450bhp through modified turbochargers (from the GT2), intercoolers (from the GT2) and gearbox.
‘Colour to sample’ or ‘Paint to Sample’ AKA PTS in Iris Blue (37u)
Aero Kit which includes front and rear spoilers, matched in the PTS Iris blue
TWO Z codes, known as ‘Exclusive Special Order’ options which I believe to be the Carbon Fibre phone and PTS aero kit.
Carbon package (Large) which includes carbon fibre trims for the gear lever, speakers, dashboard, air vents and more!
Door entry guards in carbon
Sports seats WITH lowering

Talk soon!Look around, all other 996 Turbos are boring. Black, silver, grey, black interiors with unexciting trim. I thought 996 Turbos were boring too, until I found this spec. As soon as I saw it, I HAD to have it.
PTS Iris Blue, with Metropole Blue interior, large carbon pack and a carbon phone. Imagine living life circa 2003, making deals on your way to 200MPH.
I absolutely love this car and I am sad to let it go, but as my work is exploding and I have no time to drive it, it’s a shame to hide it away.
