An appreciating classic which needs some love. I bought this as a non-running project car, the vehicle now runs and drives but unfortunately I do not have the skills to repair the bodywork. This car hasn't had an MOT since 2018 and my plan was to get it back on the road but as mentioned the arches were too far gone for my skills. The sills and underside are rust free as is the rest of the car. Mechanically the car is in good condition, it runs and drives as it should. There is slight play in the steering, I believe this is the steering column UJ.
The interior is in very good condition. It doesn't have a radio and there is a nut and bolt holding part of the dash together, I'm not sure why, it was like that when I bought it. Other than that the interior is all original including original front all-weather floor mats in matching brown to the interior. The original spare wheel and Toyota tool kit is also still in the boot.
It is a lovely honest car and I would love to be able to do more but it needs to go to a loving home with someone who has the skills to do the bodywork justice. I bought this car with the intention of restoring it but I do not have the skills to do the bodywork justice.
There aren't many of this shape left so when it is back on the road it will be a rare sight to see.
