Replaced / rebuilt engine 2000 miles ago with large Street port - built by WGT
Fully rebuild turbo with stage 2 internals
Link atom 2 ecu (pip tuned)
Mapped to 300bhp with print out
New bigger injectors
Stage 2 clutch
Flywheel
Rebuilt brakes
New discs and pads
Bigger Walbro fuel pump
Rebuilt starter motor
New v mount rad/ intercooler (over £1000)
Alternator
Rebuilt gear box
New hoses and belts
New custom exhaust
All work carried out by a rotary garage to a high standard.
£7000 spent on this car in 2019 (around 1000 miles ago)
Another £3-4000 recently spent.
Mot - 10/ 10/ 23
Car had advisory’s on last mot for chassis legs but has since been welded and undersealed.
The sills were done on 2019 to a good standard by WTG so the car is solid underneath.
Car needs tlc in pretty much every other department main issue is the paintwork. The engine bay is the worst part of the car as there is surface rust everywhere (no rot) Rest of the car is faded in places and others in primer, so a full respray is definitely the best option and was next on the list. (been quoted £2600 for this)
Front bumper has two snapped bolts so will need taking off and fixing (secure enough)
Interior is in decent nick for the age and is all there. Rip in drivers seat and small rip in back seats. Has a few electrical faults like the sunroof and passenger side window doesn’t work.
We weren’t sure if the car had its run in service so it’s just been done by Dan Jones at Lucky 8 Racing.
Car starts/ stops and drives very well indeed with no issues mechanically but as above needs tlc cosmetically for that reason I’m selling as a project car.
Oem spoiler and freshly refurbished wheels can come with car if price is right.
