Description
1968 Triumph X75 Hurricane (Replica)
If you’re reading this then there is a good chance you know what you are looking at, and like all hurricanes (factory)they are actually BSA Rocket threes.
It started life as a A75 export and that's where the actual hurricanes derived from in 1969.
This one spent all its life in the states before being repatriated back into the UK around 2010.
Apart from not having the x stamp in its frame and motor, this is an exacting replica of the factory produced units of 1972/ 73.
The frame and motor are matching numbers and as stated, has every hurricane part such as fork stanchions, yolks, extended fin cylinder head, frame mods, frame brackets, aluminium fuel cap/ tank finisher etc, etc and of course the stunning bodywork, exhaust system, shouldered alloy rims, and... this has been converted to five speed as the factory hurricanes.
The sound of these bikes is unbelievable and sound more like a 70’s formula one car than anything else.
The engine is on standard bore and everything works and functions as it should.
It would take an age to fully describe and go through the spec etc that this bike deserves.
If this bike were 1972/ 3 and X stamp it would (in this condition) be nudging 30k this bike is indistinguishable from that and half the price!
