A lovely 1954 AJS model 16 ms Jampot 350cc single. Easy to start, sounds great and rides really well. It’s had 5 former owners. There’s loads of service history and receipts, including receipts for a full engine and gearbox rebuild in 2017. This includes, a new big end assembly timing side crank pin and bush, drive bearings. A Dave Lindsley dynamo overhaul, magneto chain, seals and gaskets, exhaust valve and standard piston. The gearbox is 4 speed. £3500. This AJS is lovely to ride, a nice way to relax knowing that it’s had a good mechanical overhaul. It has the right amount of patina so it looks good and you’re not afraid to ride it all year round.
