1956 AJS 16MS
Rebuilt 2017 and only been on the road a few times.
Frame repainted all tinware repainted and a lot of chrome work replaced with new.
Shock absorbers complete rebuild also front forks rebuilt.
engine checked and parts replaced as required. New rear tyre and stainless rim. Sprockets renewed also new chains primary and secondary. New clutch plates. Complete rewire with new electronic regulator and dynamo armature.
Stainless exhaust system.
Been off the road since 2019 but stored in my warm garage.
Bad points
The saddle has a couple of cracks in the fabric but not open. The gearbox selector sometimes sticks suspect its the return spring.
The front wheel could do with a new rim, at this time it is painted black.
The battery fitted may need to be replaced I have fabricated a replica case that you can install a small lead acid battery in.
Petrol tank still original paintwork.
Looking at the photos I have included a lot of the invoices to show what has been replaced.
The two photos of the bike outside are from a couple of years back but all the others are taken Jan 2026.
