Beschreibung
1934 Morris 10/ 4 pre series. This car was subject to a full nut and bolt rebuild approximately 35 years ago. She has been cared for and dry stored ever since. She is by no means perfect but she still looks stunning. I have owned the car since 2018 and I have found her to be extremely reliable. Most recently she has taken us on holiday touring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales without any issues. She is fitted with an electronic ignition, stainless exhaust, 12v electrics, discreet modern indicators for safety, and a bespoke prop shaft with slider and universal joint (original prop goes with the car). Like most early 1930s cars she has a centre accelerator pedal which is nothing to be scared of and is quickly mastered. Her large sunroof is also water tight and in good order. New engine mounts were fitted two months ago when she had her annual service. Included in the sale are, a full set of original shock absorbers, a spare dynamo, new gearbox mounts, spare prop shaft, an owners handbook, and a large luggage trunk with leather straps to secure it to the rear luggage rack.
Reluctant sale but I have another pre war car and apparently I need a new kitchen.
Asking price is £6750 but near offers are invited. I may not be able to answer the phone on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays due to shift work. The pre series Morris 10 is a very attractive workhorse with stunning lines and an understated elegance on the road. It is not a big car externally but internally it offers much more space for passengers than a Morris 8 or Austin 7.
