I have for sale a 1973 Triumph Trophy TR6P. I acquired it with a view of a complete renovation but I have now relocated abroad to live. All of the bikes I had have been sold… this is the last one to go.
All of the hard work has been done and loads of new parts have gone onto the bike (cost: £2, 280) as well rechroming original items (cost: £276) and rebuilt wheels with stainless steel spokes. (cost: £230) Engine was rebuilt before I bought it, I had the head off and looks OK. Frame, mudguards, tank stripped etc and repainted.
It was originally a police bike (see log book), hence the white paint, issued to the Garda in Dublin on 30th March 1973. Will have to contact DVLA about registration.
It will need the wiring completed; the loom is already in place, oil to engine, gearbox, mudguard stays and a few other bits and pieces.
I would like to get costs back hence £5, 750 but might be open to seasonable offers. The bike can be viewed in Launceston.
