Offered for sale is my rare 1982 jeep Grand Wagoneer.
These are the American version of our Range Rover but probably more luxurious and certainly rarer especially in the uk.
This is a personal import that has just arrived from California. Comming from California as expected its incredibly solid underneath.
The car is a 1982. The body work albeit in need of resto is incredibly straight and the underneath is so good and looks like a five year old car. It requires no welding nor has it had any. As you can see it will require a rear bumper. The door gaps are perfect and no rot. There is a small repair needed to one wing bottom and both lower rear quarter bottoms but thats it. All the doors shut beautifully. I haven't yet been able to open the rear tailgate.
The 5. 9 V8 engine sounds great. Apparently rebuilt at some stage in the states, but I cant prove this. Although its running it will need re commisioning before using. So checking brakes etc. Please don't buy expecting to drive home. I have a video of it running that I can share . Its missing the front prop so only 2wd at the mo.
The interior needs work to the seats , carpet (drivers side) and the headlining. The colour of the interior is lovely and will be fantastic with some re trimming in places. The mileage is showing 178k. This is probably correct as the American vehicles do cover some miles. But great that its had a life and now needs to be saved and restored.
These sell for £35K plus restored. This is an ideal starter vehicle with no expensive welding repairs and engine rebuilds.
All taxes , import duties have been paid and I have the title and nova for easy registration for the fee of £55. Be the first owner of this in the uk.
Cars are not cheap in the USA these days due to the exchange rate and of course the increased shipping costs. . Gone are the days of cheap Usa imports.
A real lovely solid old jeep that can be restored or used as is after some re commissioning .

The car is now on the button. it starts runs and moves around and feels remarkably tight . the brakes need bleeding for sure. I have a video of it driving.
