Description
Land Rover 109" - 4 Cyl Petrol + new parts ready to fit..... L@@K.
I appreciate that buying a vehicle on any internet site or anywhere for that matter can be a bit scary but please be assured I have been around old land rovers all my life, so know the good from the bad.
if you are looking for something that needs rebuilding then this is not for you.
if on the other hand you want something that you can use once a week or every day then this is worth a look
It is registered as a historic vehicle so it's exempt from road tax and MOT's in the UK.
It is also exempt from London's, ULEZ and LEZ charges and forthcoming T charge, as it's a historic vehicle.

Everything works as it should even the heater controls and the vent controls. ( these normally seize up on older Land Rovers)
The original heater motor is working and still in place but I have added an in line blower
for hopefully a better blow and as its inline to the front grill it should get some ram air from the front of the vehicle while on the move.
If you want to put it back to the original Snail blower then just take the aftermarket one off, it's a ten minute job.
The bulkhead is especially good and might well be the original as you can still see the witness marks of the original spot welds and the original weld mark on the outside. All the inner cab parts, footwells, gearbox tunnel, inner door pillars etc are all in good order.
The doors are solid so again nothing wrong in that area.
The rear door is also solid with no frame rot.
In the engine compartment is a new coil, new electronic ignition, new distributor and cap, new plug leads, new fuel filter and so on, so it's NOT been lashed together with old bits.
Too much to load up on here , email for full rundown on what's been done.
2 New galvanised framed front doors and a glazed galvanised rear safari door will go with the vehicle , just need fitting,
didn't fit them as nothing wrong with the doors that are on at the moment, it's a job for later on in it's life , and just to make it 100% as there is a little play in the steering box ( as there is in all old Land Rovers) There is a Brand New yes (Brand New £600) steering box that will also go with the vehicle so when thats fitted you'll have nothing to worry about........... can't be fairer than that.
This is an honest advert
I have tried to be as honest as I can be but just remember
When buying a second hand or pre owned vehicle it's not going to be new nor is it going to be immaculate
Nothing is new unless it's still in it's box in the showroom so don't let anyone tell you any different
Just make sure you buy the best you can afford.
Feel Free to ask any Questions
just send them down the line and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Take care / Keep Safe and happy hunting for your next Land Rover.
A new Roamerdrive (0verdrive) available at cost (£2K you wouldn't buy it for that) over and above the cost of the vehicle + lower alloy transfer box plate available for £100, with these fitted it should be keeper and serve the next owner well for many years to come
