Held in two private collections and less than 1500 miles since the completion of a multi-year full nut and bolt restoration.
Previously Campaigned in club racing, most notably the BRSCC series during the mid 1970’s.

Engine (alloy sump) lightened and balanced, head polished and ported along with the fitting of larger valves and Rob Beere cams, rebuilt 2” SU carburettors on a matched manifold, original Coombs pattern carburettor trumpets. Cast manifolds and a bespoke 2” free flowing exhaust system similar to the Coombs/ Hawthorn cars of the period.
Improvements to suspension and braking.
Colour matched triple laced competition wheels with the rear spats modified to replicate the spats of Mike Hawthorn’s car in period – Additional set of standard colour matched wire wheels with tyres included.
Period correct details and factory options including a Derrington equal spoke ‘sports’ steering wheel (excellent OE steering wheel is included in the sale), 140 mph speedometer etc.
Extremely comprehensive history file and invoices/ details of significant recent expenditure.
