Description
Reluctant sale of my 1968 Austin Mini Cooper S 1275cc. Completely standard Mk2 Cooper S in Tartan Red with a black top. Original bodyshell completely restored from the ground up four years ago using only correct Heritage panels, correct sills etc. The underside is as good as the top with all powder coated subframes and suspension and the painted shell was waxoyled in all the important places, All new brakes and totally reconditioned hydrolastic suspension units. Original engine and gearbox rebuilt to standard specification with correct Cooper S engine block, gearbox, oil cooler etc, factory recliners, 4 1/ 2 S steel wheels and twin fuel tanks of course.
A lovely numbers matching car originally delivered to Jersey in June 1968 with a British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate, current V5 and full photographic record of the restoration.
