Beschreibung

TV Salvage Hunters Rare Blydenstein engine Viva.
Occasionally a rare and unique car comes up for sale. This Viva with its truly exceptional history is one such car.
Bought for the original owner on his 17th birthday, he kept it all his life until sadly passing in 2019.
Over that time he tastefully and skilfully modified it with period correct enhancements.
It was purchased by Drew Pritchard and Paul Cowland of Salvage Hunters fame who sympathetically restored it to his original specification.
The list is endless, new custom roof lining with matching stitched roll bar.
High quality veneer dash and door tops. All period working gauges. 8 track, rare custom seats, Lotus centre arm rest , Original 1960’s Dunlop D1 alloys,
The body is totally rust free, still sporting some of its original lovely jade green paint.
The best part is yet to come. As it features a signed Bill Blydenstein engine, which Paul Cowland was so excited about when they found the car.
Bill Blydenstein was famous for race and rally tuning Vauxhall engines in the 70’s and early 80’s, he has personally tuned, signed this engine and actually driven it which he gave his approval.
The Swiss watch of an engine has been removed and rebuilt by leading Viva expert Adrian Miller.
The Salvage Hunters team wanted to keep the Viva as original to the long term owners specification as possible, so it was never totally restored to concourse condition, but kept a lot of the patina for a 57 year old car, which definitely suits this time warp machine.
All running gear renewed or restored, including rebuilt Koni shock absorbers by ex F1 engineer Sean Pickering of SP Suspension
The underside of this Viva is as clean as the top.
It was also featured in Custom Car magazine , a copy of which will be supplied with car.
This Viva was requested by Vauxhall to be displayed in their Heritage collection.
The list is endless, so if you want to take this unique car to classic shows this summer or drive it on sunny days and have loads of admiring glances and long conversations when you stop for fuel this is the car for you.
Just watch Salvage Hunters Classic Cars on Quest or Discovery plus , Series 6 , Episode 3 for the hour long episode showing the story of this car.
Otherwise watch the 10 minute You Tube clip
“ Vauxhall Beaver “
Very reluctant sale. Don’t confuse this rare Viva Ha with anything out there. There isn't another. A totally one off. With a fantastic story behind it, a televised restoration and a super rare Blydenstein engine, this little Viva is surely one of the best in the country.
You’ll certainly not find another quite like it, as it’s an utterly unique creation.
A vehicle that has clearly been cherished it’s whole life by one man, now waiting for his next owner to take over from my custody.
