Description
A Vauxhall Cavalier CDX 2. 0 16v (X20XEV) manual, finished in Forest Green and registered in January 1995.
This was purchased in August 2025 with a view to improving the car cosmetically (a recent full machine polish and wax has vastly improved the appearance!) The plan was then to keep the car in my small collection for some show and shine events!
However, I have purchased other projects since, that need my time (and money) so really testing the water to see if there is any genuine interest, if not she will be tucked up back into storage!
The service and repairs folder is full and extremely comprehensive and quite honestly, she drives like new!
We have the original Vauxhall order form from the supplying dealer with the vehicle totalling £16585 back in 1995!
An extremely high spec car for it's era, including heated leather seats which came to an extra £808. 51 (rears have barely been sat in!) along with a rare sunroof, trip computer and the very iconic and original Nokia handset!
The MOT expires in March 2026 but will be SOLD with a full 12 months. She has just had a new oil sump and gasket along with a fresh oil and filter change 100 miles ago.
In the last 18 months, the vehicle has enjoyed the following work:
- New roof lining and A pillars fitted
- Part exhaust replacement
- Several service kits
- Repair fuel and coolant leak
- New Air conditioning condenser and aircon pump and regas
- New discs, pads and brake calipers throughout including a new brake master cylinder
- Refurbished alloy wheels which all are UNMARKED
- 4 New and matching tyres
The Cavalier has covered less than 2000 miles since the above works were carried out.
