Austin left in 1905 to pursue his own designs and motor production at Wolesely then came under the influence of J D Siddeley resulting in vehicles manufactured between 1904 and 1910 being marketed under the Wolseley-Siddeley name.
This magnificent veteran motor car is a 4 cylinder 15-hp 3282cc with overhead inlet and side exhaust valves, the cylinders being 4 inches in bore and 4 inches in stroke cast in pairs. The registration documents show that the car was repainted from Primrose/ Black to Maroon/ Black in May 1972. The upholstery is in beautiful matching maroon buttoned leather with a folding black hood. A two piece folding windscreen provides plenty of protection. Period Brass light fittings are present front and rear. More recently, the engine has been fitted with a well engineered electric starting system. Accompanying the car is a VCC dating certificate no: 573 issued on 1st May 1956.
