My 300E 4-Matic straight six should not be confused with the standard 300E which was just rear wheel drive. This one is a very rare 4-wheel drive version and there are only a handful still on the road. Beautiful condition for its age and mileage. first registered in 1989 and I am the third owner from new and have owned it for about 10 years. The first registered keeper was the supplying dealer for a few weeks and the second keeper kept it for about 22 years. i have three original keys for the car and 2 alarm/ immobilizer remotes. I have 7 Mercedes Benz service history records and the last 4 services were done by myself. Vehicle passed its recent MOT with no advisories with the exception of the from number plate slightly discolored, which i have a new one to fit, however i like the original plate so have not fitted it yet. Car is in diamond blue metallic with blue velour cloth. Really nice spec including alloy wheels, headlight wash/ wipe, front integrated fog lights, 4 new tyres, new battery, new alternator, electric windows all round, slide and tilt sunroof, alarm, pneumatic rear hear rests, radio cassette with 6 disc Cd auto changer in boot, Mercedes first aid kit, original tool kit, genuine snow chain kit, air conditioning, electric adjustable rear view mirrors, central locking (both off door key and remote alarm). Exterior is free from rust that i can see, engine, transmission, transfer box and chassis all look to be original and the complete underside was cleaned and wax oiled last year. During my ownership i have had no issues with the car and covered very little mileage, hence the reason why i am selling it. Starts and drives superb. Automatic gear change is smooth and progressive, no issues with the 4 wheel drive system. Sad to see it go, but i simply do not have the time to drive and use it. Insured for £7, 500. For sale for £5750 ONO. 6 Mercedes Benz dealer records, and the last 4 were done by myself. Recent MOT with no issues. 4 new tyres, new battery, alternator, poly belt. Starts and drives perfectly.
