Prior to this, the car was owned by one person from new. It is in immaculate condition, looking almost new, despite its age.
Presented in a dark shade of British Racing Green, with green leather interior and green carpets. The car was recently and fully serviced at Thunder Road. The Cobra comes with a full history folder.
If you're going to drive a Cobra, make sure it's an AC. Three reason: it's not nice to be a fake, the motor is beautifully efficient and the build quality surpasses almost everything, including a Porsche. In detail: Every-man-jack that sees a Cobra, asks: 'Excuse me, is it a real one?' I don't know what triggers this, I don't ask if their wife has enhanced breasts. But they do, I've owned replica Cobras and this inevitable moment is a cringe, unless you happen to be in the real thing. And you will be.
If you drive a real Cobra then you're going to want it to have the 5, 0 ltr EFI motor: efficient on fuel, plenty of torque, easy to maintain. I'm guessing this does 30MPG on a good run. It's a fast, fun and beautifully built, genuine Cobra. What's not to like?
The Carbon Road Series is in my opinion the Cobra of choice. Lighter, beautifully made, no corrosion, stiffer and easy to maintain. This isn't the cheap carbon of today, this is the real old school F1 carbon fibre and you can just about see the weave through the paint. I love it.
Unlike many of the MkIV Cobras, this one is absolutely as it left the factory. And like all things, car, original is always the best.
