Description
Welcome to the sale of my MGC GT.
Finished in it's original colour of Snowberry white, the car was fully restored in 2019 and with less than 1500 miles since, is still in absolutely 'Mint' condition. The renovation involved a bare metal repaint, and a complete overhaul of the Engine, Drivetrain, Suspension, Axel and Brakes. A new fuel tank, new painted 72 spoke wheels and a stainless steel exhaust has also been fitted. The engine and underside of the car are fully detailed.
Further fine tuning has been completed in 2021 which included a tune up on a rolling road and a full ‘Clear’ waxoyl treatment to the underside.
There is an extensive history file with the car dating back to 1985 which includes:-
A Heritage Certificate confirming:-
The car was manufactured between 6th and 11th March 1968,
It was delivered to the dealer 15th March 1968
Registered on the 1st April 1968,
Is a matching numbers car
Over 100 invoices detailing all expenditure on the car since 1985
Old Tax Disks
Old MOT's confirming the mileage as follows:-
6. 10. 1992 – 1662,
4. 10. 1993 - 6, 988,
4. 8. 1995 – 10, 006,
24. 6. 1997 -13, 834,
The car then appears to go into long term storage appearing again in 2019 after the renovation. MOT's start again as of :-
4. 4. 2019 – 15, 436,
13. 7. 2020 – 15, 599,
19. 5. 2021 – 15 655
and finally 28. 9. 2022 – 16, 408
Mileage on the car is currently 16700 but will increase as I continue to use it when the sun shines and lets face it , it's been shining alot recently.
The car currently has an advisor free MOT and I am happy to renew this for the new owner should they wish. The new MOT will be Advisor Free
The car was fully serviced in March 23 with new oils to engine and gearbox.
The car benefits from a very straight Webasto sunroof which is glorious in the sunshine
The car is a 4 speed with no overdrive, this is how it came out of the factory. The car is to the original spec, the only additions being 'Jump Start' points under the bonnet and a 'Cut Off' Switch behind the driver seat
This has to be one of the very best MGC GT’s on the market today with just 4 previous owners noted on the V5 - Not bad for a 50+ year old car.
Anyone viewing the car will not be disappointed.
