BMW R26 Excellent condition, well maintained, good runner and road holding. Reg DVLA as Historic category therefor exempt from road tax/ mot. Authentic features as seen in pictures such as built in tool box containing stainless steel axle nut tommy bar and correct spare new spark plug, not that it needs changing. BMW fuel cap, BMW plug cap and even the original BMW motorcyle tyre pump. Lovely luggage rack.
Has a side stand and a main stand. Has side car mount as all had from factory.
I am a life long biker , kept in heated garage , have several bikes one another BMW and BMW car , but this bike always gets more attention when out!
Realistic price and for a serious non haggling purchaser I am prepared to throw in over £600 worth of accessories including easily interchangeable genuine Pugusa pillion seat and another old style rectangle pillion seat. Full workshop manual in four languages and pics/ Bing carb manual/ R26 handbook/ cables/ Unopened oil and other parts all for someone who wants more than buying a bike on own , collectors collection. This model is typical of BMW solid manufacturing, I love the way its made and runs. It is shaft driven and doesn't even need a choke, so easy to use, even has a neutral light and anotheikes r that indicates when the battery is charging off of idle. Doesn't consume oil.
History - purchased from a ver competent retired motor engineer who had and worked on a large collection , many BMW's. His sympathetic work on the bike shows clearly in the pictures , seemed worked on where necessary and kept as authentic as possible.
