1934; Road Registered; built by its last owner at great expense for himself to compete on with the intention of creating a 'modern day' Vintage Race Bike; Mervyn Stratford was the guiding hand throughout the process and also carried out much of the work; with the 'Stratford' engine, the nearside crankcase was recast with strengthened webs (we are advised that the original Ulster crankcase half may be available to include but this has, as yet not been confirmed), with crank, with upgraded bearings all balanced and fitted with a Racing piston, ported & gas flowed head complete with oversized valves & new oil pump; exhaust made to Stratford design and complying with 105dBA noise regulations; Gearbox was supplied by Martin Slancar and is a close-ratio type with needle roller bearings; wheels, hub & carb were setup by Stratford. currently set up to run on Methanol; this machine has cost way above the asking price to build and has not as yet been used in 'anger'; more details on our website at: ventureclassics. com
