This is a solid rust-free UK RHD van. Everything that's needed doing in the 19 years I've owned it has been done. All work completed by a highly respected and renowned VW specialist in Hampshire. Had a complete strip down and restoration in 2014, pictures and receipts available for all work. Stored in barn most of the time since, including a 2 year stint while we were out of the country. Tax exempt.
Work completed includes:
- Two rear seatbelts fitted
- Sills, arches, rear quarters replaced
- 2 new cab doors
- New engine lid
- All rotten external body work replaced (no filling)
- Interior removed and restored, kept as original as possible
- New pop-top canvas fitted
- Complete respray
- New 3 way fridge
- New engine block
- Twin Weber carbs
- Lowered a tiny bit

You can sleep up to 6 (3 up, 3 down) if two are smaller (under 10) as they sleep cross ways. Broken down once in 19 years when the alternator seized. Odometer reads 37, 000. I honestly don't know if that's a genuine 37K or 137K! Doesn't really matter because of all the work carried out!
